Death – Du – Hotel
Demolition of Palace Hotel ( formerly aurora tavern ) ordered by senior structural engineers, only hours after passer-by noticed meter – long cracks in walls. At 1am heavy wrecking machines moved in for the kill – tearing down the hotel within 90 minutes – death – with pile of rubble.

The Hotel Building – built 1886 with additions in 1889 and 1912, an old heritage hotel. Under conversion inside – converted into upmarket brothel was underway – but no more. Ruled unsafe to leave the building standing R.I.P. Hotel.(CCN传媒图片网 罗晓娜)
